The Migos are currently on fire, and have been for the past two years. They dropped successful singles and albums and have created their own lane where they can deliver the demand for that particular lane.
They received a alley-oop from Drake back in 2013, when he decided to hop on the “Versace” record, this creating an unofficial, then official remix to it, all while landing more eyes and ears to Migos.
Just last year, after winning a Golden Globe, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino thanked Migos for “Bad and Boujee” while at the award show in front of a national audience. Again, providing Migos with new sets of eyes and ears.
The group’s success led to the both Quavo and Offset branching out and launching singles careers.
Currently, it is Offset who is shining bright as he dropped a collaborative EP with Metro Boomin, and is receiving everyone’s praise.
This record is a good indicator of a Migos record as all three members contribute to the record’s greatness.
You get verses from Takeoff and Offset while Quavo delivers in a different way, by providing great background vocals, ad-libs and his pre-hook. His auto-tuned singing adds an extra flare to the record and makes the hook fun to recite at the top of one’s lungs.
There’s no deny it, Quavo is definitely a star.
