Hooray! Champions League is back!
We’re down to the final four.
One semi-final easily overshadows the other.
The quarterfinals are here. The draw is set.
After some interesting Round of 16 matchups, Chelsea losing on aggregate was shocking but good to see, and the near implosion of Real Madrid against Schalke, was interesting, I’m exciting for the next round.
It’s upon us. Wrestlemania is only a few days away.
Every year, around Royal Rumble time, I start watching WWE as often as I can. I try follow to just after Wrestlemania. I try to guess which storylines are going to develop and flourish and which are going to crash and burn.
Last year, WWE got itself into a pickle by choosing Batista to win the Royal Rumble, when the entire world—myself included—wanted Daniel Bryan to win it. Everyone knew he deserve it, he worked his ass off and was over like crazy. Yet they went a different route with Batista and it instantly backfired.
Champions League is back, yay! After a two-month break, the last sixteen teams remaining will take the field.
In my last Champions League post, I made predictions on who would advance. I correctly named thirteen of the sixteen teams that advanced—Liverpool, Benfica and Athletic Bilbao didn’t make it. That’s not bad.
It’s here. Another year of awesome UEFA Champions League play. This week the first game of the group stage takes place.
